Two 600-type waste shredder machines shipped to Thailand

Two 600-type waste shredder machines shipped to Thailand, empowering new energy for resource recycling.

Recently, two high-performance 600-type waste shredders departed from a professional environmental protection equipment manufacturing base in China for Thailand after completing comprehensive quality inspection and commissioning. These shredders will provide crucial support for local solid waste treatment and resource recycling projects. Designed specifically for processing mixed waste, these shredders will help Thailand improve waste reduction and resource utilization, and promote the development of a circular economy.

As an emerging economy in Southeast Asia, Thailand has faced the pressure of rapidly growing domestic and industrial waste in recent years. Cities like Bangkok generate over 10,000 tons of mixed waste daily, including a large amount of recyclable materials such as plastics, rubber, wood, and metal products. However, due to limited processing technology, a large amount of these materials is landfilled or incinerated, resulting in both waste and environmental pollution. The 600-type shredders exported this time are tailor-made for the complexity of Thailand's mixed waste.

This equipment utilizes a "dual-shaft shearing + low-speed, high-torque" structure. The main shear shaft has a diameter of 600 mm and is equipped with a high-hardness alloy cutter assembly. It can easily shred metal plates up to 8 mm thick, plastic pipes up to 30 cm in diameter, large furniture panels, and mixed waste bales. Its unique staggered cutter shaft design evenly shreds materials into fragments of 10-20 cm, significantly simplifying subsequent sorting (such as magnetic separation and air separation). The shredded material is more thoroughly separated from metals and non-metals, and plastic and rubber fragments are uniform in size, facilitating subsequent purification or reprocessing. Designed for Thailand's hot and humid tropical climate, the equipment features an optimized motor cooling system and bearing seals. A stainless steel protective housing and moisture-proof coating ensure stable operation in environments above 35°C. The cutters are made of a wear-resistant alloy, extending their lifespan by 30% compared to conventional equipment, reducing maintenance costs.

The Thai government is vigorously promoting its "Sustainable Development Strategy," aiming to increase the solid waste recycling rate from the current 30% to over 65% by 2030. This creates a strong demand for efficient, energy-efficient pre-treatment equipment. The introduction of these two 600-type shredders will not only help the local treatment plant increase its daily processing capacity (each unit can process over 20 tons per day), but will also promote the transformation of mixed waste from simple landfill to refined sorting and high-value utilization. Shredded materials can be directly fed into sorting lines to extract resources such as plastics and metals, or be made into alternative fuels (RDF), reducing reliance on virgin resources.

From exporting equipment to empowering technology, Chinese environmental protection equipment companies are deeply involved in global solid waste management with adaptable solutions. The 600-type shredders shipped to Thailand are not only a technological export, but also a vivid example of China-Thailand green cooperation, providing a "Chinese solution" for the development of a circular economy in Southeast Asia.
